Hi I got the dreaded p0420 code, 2012 cruze lt. Replaced both o2 sensors, have reset code several times and it keeps coming back. I've read where lots of people have gotten a new car but it didnt solve the problem. I know the p0299 is probably a bad turbo. Have run cat cleaner and seafoam through it. The exhaust smells very strongly too.P0299 always seems to pop up on long trips then acceleration and gas mileage drops drastically. If I clear the code and let the car cool down it will drive normally for months on short trips less than an hour but the p0299 always comes back.
