Your leaking rear shock absorber is obviously failing and you should replace the rear pair. Had my 2003 Mazda 6s in for a 30K service at my mechanic. He noticed the rear left shock leaking and recommended both rear shocks be replaced. Called the Mazda dealer and they will look at it as potentially a warranty repair. I don't think they can claim normal wear and tear - this is premature wear IMHO.

About 80 bucks. Noticeably stiffer with a drive around the block. The old ones compressed with 2 fingers of pressure. The old ones did fully expand on them own but much slower than the new KYB.

That being said, the distance of IFP location is also incorrect in the manual because of bigger res. on the rear. Walker Evans says the correct amount they put in these shocks is 125psi.
