Now I find it very hard to conquer my first castle as I am alone with my 100 or so men. Whenever I siege a castle, ofc the owning faction is jumping on me with 200-300 troops. Quyaz and Ortysia are two high prosperity towns, good for workshops. Taking both would help immensely grow and fund a fledgling kingdom. Revyl has great positioning, it’s in Sturgia. Again, one way in. But it only has two villages and won’t be able to afford you as high of a garrison or army. Joining a kingdom, getting settlements, leave the kingdom with the settlements, bribe for peace. there you have it. 50k-60k Gold to bribe the king. This is not really fun, because once you form it. you barely have anything prepared. but this is the fastest way I know so far. Actual civil war in a faction is you leaving the faction with all your holdings and creating your kingdom of the same culture. I don't think you can take over the OG faction that way. To change kings, they must die by any means. I recommend joining the ruler's army, knock him out in battle while death is enabled.
